Assistant Fashion Designer & Merchandiser

As a creative and detail-oriented designer joining our team, your role will involve creating collections, conducting research & development, and managing sampling. You should be able to identify trends, understand technical aspects of garment construction, and support day-to-day brand activities including social media and order management. - Develop new collections from concept to sampling. - Conduct trend research, fabric research, and R&D. - Coordinate with vendors and manage sourcing and field work. - Oversee sampling, fit checks, and technical details. - Create and schedule social media posts. - Manage online orders and basic customer communication. - Support photoshoots when required. To excel in this role, you should have: - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). - Strong command of Microsoft Office. - Ability in sketching and digital illustration. - Knowledge of photography is an added advantage. - Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar role. Regarding additional details: The company is based in Gurgaon with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The salary offered is 25,000 per month, negotiable based on experience. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work.
