Assistant Fashion Designer (Mens Casual)

You will be responsible for coordinating and working closely with the Product Development, Tech Pack, and sourcing sampling teams to ensure that the items meet customer expectations, market demands, and price points. Additionally, you will assist in establishing a best-in-class design process across different product categories. It is essential to have a good technical skill in garment construction and understand the technical guidelines from various departments during the design and sampling process of garments. You will be required to create and visualize ideas, produce designs by hand sketch or using computer-based software, and collaborate with other designers to meet deadlines. Staying updated with emerging fashion trends, competition, fabrics, colors, and customer preferences is crucial for this role. Qualifications: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing menswear, particularly in the casual category. - A fashion graduate or postgraduate from NIFT is mandatory.
