ASSISTANT AC TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant AC Technician to support our HVAC team in the maintenance, and repair of various air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of HVAC systems and be eager to learn and grow under the supervision of senior technicians. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the air conditioning and refrigeration field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the servicing of split AC units, ducted systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Support senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
• Help with routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Clean and replace filters, check thermostats, and inspect basic system components.
• Organize and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and service vehicles.
• Record basic service activities and report to senior technician or supervisor.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC or air conditioning field (or recent HVAC diploma/certification).
• Technical diploma or certificate in Air Conditioning / HVAC is preferred.
• Basic understanding of air conditioning systems and components.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and able to work in hot or confined spaces.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.
