Branch Manage r is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the branch to ensure profitability, growth, and operational efficiency. This role involves leading the branch team, driving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities Business growth and sales management Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets for the branch. Drive business growth by promoting and selling a wide range of NBFC products, such as Loan against property, Housing Loans, Business Loans for Salaried and Self employed people Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Formulate and implement local marketing and promotional activities to increase customer footfall and brand awareness. Operational management Oversee all day-to-day branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Manage branch financials, including budgeting, expenses, and reporting, to ensure profitability. Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and minimize operational risks. Ensure timely and accurate reporting on branch performance metrics to senior management. Team leadership and development Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team to achieve individual and team goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and training to enhance staff skills. Qualifications and skills Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (required). Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar leadership role within the financial services industry, with experience in an NBFC preferred of more than 5 to 7 years Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing branch operations.
