Editing and proofreading medical documents for grammatical, clarity, and formatting accuracy. Ensuring all transcribed reports comply with AIMS Hospital’s documentation standards and confidentiality policies. Reviewing and verifying patient information and medical terminology for consistency and correctness. Maintaining records and archives of transcribed reports for easy retrieval. Communicating with healthcare staff to clarify or resolve discrepancies in dictation. Meeting turnaround time requirements while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Transcription , Life Sciences , or a related field. Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist in a hospital or healthcare setting. Excellent command of English grammar , medical terminology , and typing skills . Proficiency with transcription software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and Microsoft Office tools. Strong listening, comprehension, and time management abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with professionalism.
