Explain product features, technical specifications, and pricing clearly. Provide demonstrations where required. Prepare quotations, follow up with customers, and convert leads into sales. Maintain a clean, well-organized showroom and ensure all displays are up to date. Coordinate with the production/supply team to confirm availability and delivery timelines. Handle basic customer queries, escalate technical issues to the service or technical team. Meet monthly sales targets and contribute to showroom revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers (restaurants, hotels, caterers). Keep up to date with new product launches, competitor offerings, and market trends. Production Engineer Production Planning & Control Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on orders. Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and manpower. Manufacturing & Assembly Supervise fabrication, welding, cutting, and assembly of kitchen equipment. Ensure proper finishing (polishing, buffing, powder coating) before dispatch. Quality Control Check dimensions, materials, and welding quality as per design/specifications. Conduct functional testing of gas, electric, and refrigeration equipment. Ensure compliance with food-grade safety standards (SS304/SS316). Process Improvement Reduce production costs by optimizing material usage and reducing waste. Introduce jigs, fixtures, and automation where possible. Coordination & Documentation Work closely with design team to resolve drawing issues. Maintain production reports, material consumption records, and job cards. Coordinate with purchase, sales, and dispatch teams. Safety & Compliance Implement workplace safety measures (PPE usage, fire safety, gas leak checks). Ensure compliance with ISO/CE standards where applicable. Team Management Guide technicians, welders, and fitters. Conduct training for improving skill levels of workers. Required Skills Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication (SS bending, shearing, punching, laser , Tig welding). Understanding of kitchen equipment design (work tables, burners, display counters, refrigeration units etc. Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards for commercial kitchens. Strong problem-solving & team-handling skills .
