Position: R&D chemist- Industrial Coatings Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in paint formulation development for industrial applications Location: Chennai Compensation: Salary as per industrial standards Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize paint formulations in epoxy, polyurethane (PU), and alkyd systems for industrial protective coatings applications. Conduct laboratory-scale trials, batch preparation, and scale-up studies ensuring consistency and performance. Carry out detailed quality control (QC) testing using lab instruments (viscosity, gloss, adhesion, impact, chemical resistance, etc.). Ensure compliance with ISO 12944 and other relevant international standards in product development. Work closely with production, application, and sales teams to provide technical expertise and take inputs on product usage and customer requirements. Document formulations, testing protocols, and maintain records of R&D projects for knowledge management. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: B.Tech in Polymeric Chemistry (preferred) or Chemical Engineering .
