Art Teacher

An Art Teacher is responsible for nurturing students’ creativity, imagination, and artistic skills through engaging and well-structured visual arts education. The role involves teaching a variety of art forms such as drawing, painting, craftwork, sculpture, and design, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. An Art Teacher develops lesson plans that align with the curriculum while also encouraging self-expression and experimentation. They organize art displays, exhibitions, and competitions, and often contribute to the aesthetic development of the school environment through creative projects. In addition to teaching techniques and art history, the Art Teacher helps students build fine motor skills, visual literacy, and confidence in their artistic abilities. The ideal candidate should hold a degree or diploma in Fine Arts or Visual Arts, possess strong artistic ability, creativity, and classroom management skills, and be passionate about inspiring young learners through art.
