This role is ideal for an early-career professional passionate about storytelling, data-driven communication, and development-sector outreach. The Manager will be responsible for bridging internal programs with external audiences through high-quality reporting, engaging content, and strategic digital presence. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation & Communication · Create newsletters, brochures, donor reports, and field updates in English and Hindi. · Document case studies, success stories, and program highlights using text, photography, and short videos. · Design impactful communication materials aligned with Arpana’s ethos and voice. 2. Social Media & Digital Platforms · Manage Arpana’s social media accounts with regular updates and growth strategies. · Plan and execute digital campaigns to raise awareness and mobilize support. · Update and maintain website content and news posts. 3. Reporting & Documentation · Coordinate with program teams to compile timely and accurate reports. · Ensure quality control and standardization in internal and external documentation. · Assist in data collection, standardization, analysis, and visualization for impact reporting. 4. Collaboration & Coordination · Work closely with the program teams to align donor communications. · Supervise and motivate junior staff, ensuring task completion. Required Skills & Attributes · Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in Hindi preferred. · Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for diverse formats. · Familiarity with Canva, MS Office, and social media management tools. · Basic photo/video editing skills (preferred but not mandatory). · Proactive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a small, hands-on team. · Excellent organizational ability, patience and diligence · Sensitivity to development sector values and under privileged community narratives. Qualifications · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, Development Studies, Journalism, English, Social Work, Business management or related fields. · 2–4 years of experience in a communications, media, or program documentation role.
