Area Sales Manager – South

Sensors, Switches and Controls

As Area Sales Manager – South, you will be responsible for developing new business, expanding our customer base and strengthening Carlo Gavazzi's presence across the region.

You will:

• Drive

  new business development and market penetration

  across South India.
• Develop relationships with

  OEMs, system integrators, distributors and key accounts

  .
• Identify new customers, applications and growth opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets through customer acquisition, cross-selling and introduction of new products.
• Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Work closely with our international

  Product Management teams

  to identify market opportunities.
• Represent Carlo Gavazzi at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Manage your sales pipeline, forecasts and performance reporting.

What we're looking for

technical knowledge and commercial drive

• Bachelor's degree in

  Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

  .

• 8–10 years of experience

  in sales, business development or product management.
• Strong experience within

  Industrial Automation

  , particularly

  Sensors, Controls and/or Switches

  .
• Proven success developing business with

  OEMs, system integrators and key accounts

  .
• Strong customer acquisition and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand and clearly present technical solutions.
• Proficiency in

  English and Hindi

  ; a regional language is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated approach.
