Area Sales Manager-Horeca-Mangalore

Job Summary

Aachi Masala is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager – HoReCa to drive sales growth and expand the company's presence across the HoReCa segment in Mangalore, Udupi, and surrounding markets.

The candidate will be responsible for developing business with hotels, restaurants, catering companies, institutional kitchens, and other food service customers. The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales experience, an established understanding of the food service industry, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Drive sales and revenue growth for Aachi Masala products across the HoReCa segment.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, and institutional customers.
• Expand market penetration across Mangalore, Udupi, and adjoining territories.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, purchase managers, hotel owners, restaurant operators, and catering contractors.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and business development meetings.
• Develop customer-specific sales strategies to increase product usage and repeat orders.
• Manage customer enquiries, negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial terms.

3. Market Development & Distribution

• Identify potential HoReCa accounts and develop a strong customer pipeline.
• Work closely with distributors and channel partners to ensure product availability and timely supplies.
• Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, product trends, and customer preferences.
• Identify opportunities to introduce Aachi products into new accounts and food service establishments.

4. Product Promotion & Sales Execution

• Promote Aachi's spices, masalas, and other relevant food products to professional kitchens.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, sampling, and chef engagement activities.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to the management team.
• Drive product visibility, customer conversion, and account-wise sales growth.

5. Reporting & Performance Management

• Prepare sales forecasts, daily visit reports, and periodic sales performance reports.
• Track sales volumes, collections, outstanding payments, and customer profitability.
• Monitor sales targets, account acquisition, repeat business, and territory performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
