Role Description
The Area Sales Manager – Andhra Pradesh, Point of Care Division is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area, with responsibility for driving sales and market development across the Andhra Pradesh region. This role includes managing and expanding the distributor and dealer network, achieving sales targets, and promoting point-of-care diagnostic products to healthcare institutions and channel partners. The individual will conduct regular customer visits, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and provide product demonstrations and training where needed. Daily activities involve planning and executing territory sales strategies, monitoring competitor activity, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and coordinating closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer support. The Area Sales Manager will also ensure timely collections, support post-sales service follow-up, and represent the company at regional conferences, events, and customer meetings.
Qualifications

Strong regional sales and business development skills in healthcare or diagnostics, including territory management and channel partner handling.

Experience in distributor and dealer network management, with the ability to onboard, train, and support partners for consistent sales performance.

Proficiency in relationship-building and customer engagement, including regular field visits, product presentations, and negotiation with institutional and retail buyers.

Ability to analyze market data, track competitor activities, and prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and action plans.

Effective communication and presentation skills in English and local languages, with the capacity to collaborate across sales, marketing, and operations teams.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in diagnostics, medical devices, or related healthcare products.

Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Comfort with frequent travel within the assigned territory and readiness to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area.

Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for reporting, planning, and customer management.
