We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring videos published on Brut India's social media pages, conducting research, creating visual content, and ensuring that all published videos meet our high-quality standards. This position requires a journalist who can respond quickly to news on social media platforms and uphold the integrity of our craft. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Brut India's social media presence and publish engaging content across various platforms. - Oversee the publication and management of stories on Brut Hindi's Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages. - Edit short-form Reels, pitch and translate stories, and monitor online feedback and trends to shape content strategy. - Collaborate with the team on research, visual content creation, and resolving copyright issues. - Maintain an organized archive of visual assets related to our stories. Candidate Profile: - 1-3 years of experience in social media engagement. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. - Deep knowledge of internet culture and trends, with a keen news judgment. - Passion for visual storytelling and optimizing content for diverse platforms. - Proficiency in social media best practices and experience in brand management. - Excellent communication skills; international newsroom experience is a plus. - Ability to analyze traffic and engagement metrics to drive content strategy.
