Architectural Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Architectural Assistant to join our design team. You will play a key role in the production of technical drawings and 3D visualizations, while assisting in the commercial feasibility of projects through accurate estimations. The ideal candidate is someone who can move fluidly between technical CAD work and creative 3D modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• 2D Technical Drawing: Produce high-quality floor plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings using [AutoCAD/Revit]. Ensure all drawings comply with building regulations and office standards.
• 3D Modeling & Visualization: Create and manage detailed 3D models in SketchUp. Develop massing studies and interior/exterior perspectives to help clients visualize the design.
• Cost Estimations: Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and "Take-offs" (quantifying materials) to ensure projects remain within budget.

Skills & Qualifications

Software- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp

Technical- Proficient in 2D Drafting, Scale Accuracy

Math/Finance- Basic Estimation & Quantity Take-off

Education- Diploma in Architecture or Degree in Architecture or related field
