We are looking for a Computational Designer with a background in Architecture or Interior Design to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging computational design strategies to enhance creativity, efficiency, and performance in architectural and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with parametric modeling, automation tools, and performance analysis, ensuring innovative and data-driven design solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop computational design strategies to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design possibilities. - Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate computational methodologies into the design process. - Utilize parametric modeling tools such as Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, and scripting languages like C# and Python to create dynamic design solutions. - Conduct performance analysis to assess structural integrity, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency, ensuring data-driven design decisions. - Generate multiple design iterations to evaluate various options and facilitate decision-making processes through computational techniques. - Develop and maintain computational workflows and standards within the team, ensuring scalability and efficiency. - Stay informed on emerging technologies in computational design, automation, AI-driven tools, and digital fabrication to enhance design capabilities. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in computational design, architecture, or interior design. - Technical Proficiency: Parametric modeling tools such as Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, or similar platforms. Programming/Scripting: C#, Python, or visual scripting for automation. BIM integration: Working knowledge of Revit and interoperability between computational tools. - Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, building systems, materials, and construction techniques. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables. - A portfolio showcasing computational design projects is a plus. **Preferred Skills (Bonus):** - Experience with automation and AI-driven tools for design optimization. - Knowledge of digital fabrication, material research, or computational geometry. - Familiarity with collaborative workflows, data visualization, and interoperability between design software. - Understanding of cloud-based computing or scripting for large-scale data processing for design applications.
