Job Description

As an Architect - Go/Java + Associate Manager at our company, you will be responsible for owning the technical direction to ensure the team ships high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Go services. Your role will involve leading architecture and design decisions, setting patterns and best practices, and balancing trade-offs for long-term scalability and maintainability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Owning the technical direction to ensure the team ships high-quality, scalable, maintainable Go services - Guiding and mentoring engineers to raise the bar - Leading architecture and design decisions, setting patterns and best practices - Balancing trade-offs for long-term scalability and maintainability - Designing, coding, debugging, writing unit/integration tests and benchmarks - Maintaining clear technical documentation - Collaborating closely with developers and consultants on implementation - Unblocking teammates and providing practical guidance during delivery - Owning complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end - Breaking down work, driving execution, and delivering reliable outcomes - Mentoring juniors through code reviews, pairing, and structured feedback - Fostering a culture of learning and craftsmanship - Communicating effectively with cross-functional partners - Contributing to technical planning and estimation - Identifying risks early and driving continuous improvements across the codebase and delivery processes - Maintaining high productivity and product quality - Being accountable for delivering to agreed scope, standards, and timelines - Acting as the key trouble-shooter in complex/escalated incidents - Adhering to and enforcing development standards and architectural guidelines - Leading eCommerce platform development end-to-end - Troubleshooting, stabilizing, and leading root-cause analysis with lasting fixes You should have 8-12 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming, backend development, and modern software engineering best practices is required. Graduation in a relevant field is essential for this role.
