Apprentice Technician / Operator – Cold Forging Department (Fresher)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate cold forging machines under the guidance of a supervisor.

Assist in setting up dies and tools as per work instructions.

Check component dimensions using gauges and basic instruments.

Maintain daily production logs and follow process discipline.

Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of forged components.

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during machine operation.

Identify basic machine faults and inform the maintenance team.

Learn and implement 5S and Kaizen practices on the shop floor.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: ITI (Fitter / Turner / Tool & Die / Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering.

Experience: Freshers (0–1 year).

Prior training in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Skills Required:

Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Willingness to work in rotating shifts.

Ability to handle physical workload in a production setup.

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn forging operations.
