Role Overview: As an Apprentice at CGI, you will be involved in developing NLP models for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, and summarization. You will collaborate with senior engineers and linguists on real-world language problems, assist in data preprocessing and annotation workflows, and evaluate model performance using metrics like BLEU, ROUGE, and F1-score. Additionally, you will stay updated with the latest research in transformers, LLMs, and prompt engineering, while documenting experiments, datasets, and model behavior clearly.
