Role & responsibilities

Applied Mathematics teacher

advanced mathematical concepts and their practical applications

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver
lessons in Applied Mathematics
according to the curriculum (CBSE).
Integrate
real-life applications
and interdisciplinary connections into lessons to make learning meaningful.
Design and administer
assessments, projects, and assignments
to evaluate student performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree
in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or a related discipline.
B.Ed.
(Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory for CBSE schools).
Minimum
3–5 years of teaching experience
at the senior secondary level.
Familiarity with
Applied Mathematics curriculum (CBSE )
or equivalent.
Proficiency in using
educational technology
and mathematical software tools.

Strong conceptual understanding of
Applied Mathematics topics
(e.g., Linear Programming, Probability, Calculus, Financial Mathematics, Matrices, and Optimization).
Excellent
communication, analytical, and classroom management skills

Ability to connect mathematics with

Passion for teaching and continuous professional learning.
