Applied AI ML Lead

As an Applied AI ML Lead at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Global Bank Technology team, you will play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering cutting-edge technology products. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and deployment of groundbreaking GenAI applications like search tools, chatbots, and AI agents to address intricate challenges in the financial services sector. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the entire lifecycle of GenAI-powered applications, utilizing your expertise in AI, NLP, LLM, and deep learning to drive business improvements, and designing enterprise-level solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure. You will be instrumental in the development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based applications, implementing innovative software solutions, and ensuring operational stability. Your role will also involve contributing to engineering communities, promoting a culture of innovation, diversity, and inclusion, and participating in SRE/Production support activities. To excel in this role, you should have formal training in software engineering with over 12 years of technical experience, a strong command of system design, application development, and operational support, as well as deep expertise in Python, microservices architecture, and AWS services. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, CI/CD practices, and LLM/GenAI concepts is essential. Additionally, familiarity with SDLC, application resiliency, and security best practices will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with Jupiter model training environment, back-end technologies, containerization, and modern cloud technologies. A strong passion for AI/ML-driven solutions, coupled with deep technical expertise, will be highly advantageous in this role.
