About the Role
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to provide L1 and L2 support for live, web-based insurance applications. This role combines debugging, SQL and testing, so you will work on resolving production issues as well as validating fixes and releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1 and L2 application support for live products
• Investigate and resolve incidents using .NET and API debugging
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to fix data issues
• Log and track incidents in ITSM, Jira, Solman and Zoho
• Run functional, regression and smoke tests, and report defects
• Validate APIs using Postman
• Talk with clients to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Maintain database structures and support data validation

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in application support and/or software testing
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server / MySQL)
• Working knowledge of .NET and API debugging
• Experience with ticketing and incident management tools
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile
• Clear communication and good customer handling

Good to Have

• Insurance or claims domain knowledge
• Experience with PAM tools
• Familiarity with Figma
