Application Software Lead Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Lead/Engineer, you will be responsible for developing device drivers for Electrical and Electronic bench/rack equipment in collaboration with Hardware design engineers. Your role will also involve enhancing the overall product quality and reliability through the implementation of advanced development processes. Key Responsibilities: - Interact with customers to gather requirements and plan software development activities. - Collaborate with Hardware design engineers to comprehend system requirements effectively. - Develop device drivers for Electrical and Electronic bench/rack equipment. - Create application software to facilitate test and measurement solutions for product testing. - Design Embedded software for robotics and automation solutions to operate in the field. - Deploy the product in production, address production ramp issues, and offer field support when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Science Engineering. - Proficient in data structures and object-oriented programming languages. - Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, etc. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Software Design. - Experience in driver development for bench/rack instruments is a plus. - Sound knowledge in Microcontroller, ADC, Sensors, and Motor-driver based software design is advantageous.
