Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your day will involve overseeing the application development process and ensuring project success.
Roles & Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise to the team.Delivery results based on requirements set by the team lead.Provide oversight for the quality of the application and artifacts related to the application analysis and development.Collaborate with the production support team to implement sound change planning and change management.Be proactive in uncovering risk, manage and drive risks and issues understanding business impact. Strive for Best Practice in design and development.Contribute to the technology strategic agenda by driving application architecture simplicity and by minimizing production incidents through high quality development and processes.Be an active participant in regular task elaboration, prioritization and estimation workshops.Ensure Documentation is up to date and relevant.Build effective relationships with key Business Stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)7+ years experience in senior development roleFamiliarity with all aspects of SDLC.Detailed experience with SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services (SSRS and PowerBI) and MDX queries for Cubes.Excellent system design skills in a SQL Server Business Intelligence.Experienced with Source control - GIT, JenkinsHighly DesirableExperience in Financial Industry applications and business processesExperience with Agile projectsUnderstanding of Market Risk.Domain KnowledgeKnowledge of Banking, Markets / Treasury products highly DesirableAbility to be able to handle the complexity and dynamic nature of the Financial Services environment, requirement applications to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly in a complex environment.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)- This position is based at our Gurugram office, Its mandate to work from Gurugram 3 days/week- A 15 years full-time education is requiredQualification
