Introduction to IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers In this role, you'll be working in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers). These centers are where we provide deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients globally. Our delivery centers are designed to offer clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and the adoption of new technology. Your Role and Responsibilities As a Consultant, you are responsible to: Develop the design of applications. Provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution. Your primary responsibilities include: Lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions using the latest technologies, always looking to add business value and meet user requirements. Strive for continuous improvements by testing the built solution and working under an agile framework. Discover and implement the latest technology trends to maximize and build creative solutions. Education Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Master's Degree Technical and Professional Expertise Required Technical and Professional Expertise: With 3-5 years of experience in Design and implement automation for Application build and deployment. Knowledge of best practices to follow during Ansible playbook development. Automate the current deployment process using Ansible like deploying WAR files (Java applications) to Tomcat servers. Configure and manage inventories for different environments. Hands-on experience to develop common (custom) roles to achieve specific functionality which can be reused for multiple applications. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience: Good understanding of different types of variables. Good knowledge of Jinja templates and the Windows and Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, AD, Azure). Good knowledge of Ansible filters to manipulate variables. Strong knowledge of Unix / Linux. Strong knowledge of scripting tools: Shell, Powershell, YAML.
