Job Title: Application Architect (Python & React)

Role Overview

React

Core Responsibilities

• System Design:

  Architect end-to-end solutions using a microservices or modular monolith approach, ensuring seamless integration between React SPAs and Python-based REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Technical Roadmap:

  Evaluate and select the right libraries, frameworks, and infrastructure components (e.g., choosing between Redux vs. React Query, or Flask vs. FastAPI).

• Standards & Governance:

  Establish coding standards, architectural patterns, and security protocols (OWASP, JWT, OAuth2) for both frontend and backend teams.

• Performance Optimization:

  Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the stack, from React rendering performance (virtualization, memoization) to Python database query optimization and caching strategies (Redis/Memcached).

• Leadership & Mentorship:

  Lead architectural review boards, perform high-impact code reviews, and mentor senior developers to align with the overarching architecture.

• Cloud & DevOps:

  Design deployment strategies using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring the application is "cloud-native" and scalable on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in software development, with at least 6+ years in a dedicated Architectural or Lead role.
• Experience delivering at least two large-scale enterprise applications from conception to production.
• Excellent ability to collaborate on projects, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
