The Senior Medical Officer will be responsible for leading and managing the hospital's clinical operations, ensuring high-quality healthcare services and end to end project management, including Profit and Loss accountability. The Senior Medical Officer will play a crucial role in implementing best practices, ensuring compliance with medical standards and driving operational efficiency.
• Oversee the overall medical operations and administration of ATPS Hospital Lakhpat and Kadipani Hospital.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Apollo Hospitals, Partner, and local healthcare stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless implementation of the upgradation plan, including infrastructure improvements, procurement of medical equipment, and recruitment of qualified personnel.
• Lead and mentor the entire medical team including the doctors, ensuring continuous professional development.
• Oversee P&L, expenses, inventory, and end-to-end project operations.
• Develop policies and protocols for hospital operations, patient safety, and quality assurance.
• Supervise and provide medical oversight to MBBS doctors, specialists, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Ensure timely availability and quality of general and specialist consultations, teleconsultations, and referral services.
Oversee the integration of tele-ICU services, ensuring 24/7 accessibility to specialized critical care.
• Monitor and ensure the efficient functioning of diagnostic, radiology, pharmacy, emergency, and in-patient services.
• Collaborate with visiting specialists to provide enhanced care for Speciality consultation.
• Drive community outreach initiatives to maximize patient engagement and ensure optimal utilization of hospital services.
• Conduct regular reviews with the client.
• Ensure timely payment collection.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements in healthcare service delivery.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patient safety, infection control, and emergency response.
• Drive initiatives for preventive healthcare, non-communicable disease management, and maternal & child health services.
• Regularly review hospital performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
• Facilitate the use of telemedicine and remote consultations with Apollo's network of specialists.
• Promote digital health solutions for better patient management and follow-ups.
• Develop outreach programs to enhance healthcare access for the local miningaffected population.
• Collaborate with Partner and government bodies to improve healthcare initiatives.
• Ensure smooth coordination for emergency patient transfers and tie-ups with higher referral centers.
• Organize health camps, immunization drives, and awareness programs for preventive healthcare.
