API Automation Tester + Java Scripting

Your role will involve a focus on technology innovation to drive the digital transformation of our clients, delivering high-quality, scalable, compliant, secure, high-performance, and reliable solutions through a modern, process-driven development cycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Testing - Demonstrate strong expertise in API Automation Testing and Java Scripting - Showcase proficiency with Selenium for automation testing - Utilize your experience with REST API testing tools like Postman for manual testing and Rest Assured or Karate for automation - Apply your solid understanding and working knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement testing strategies - Utilize your good knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with MySQL - Demonstrate familiarity with MongoDB, JSON queries, and DB concepts - Design and build automation frameworks from scratch - Show your proven ability to write and execute scripts using REST APIs - Perform manual and automated API testing to ensure high product quality - Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and comprehensive documentation - Execute BDD-based test scenarios using Cucumber and integrate with CI/CD pipelines - Analyse test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues - Conduct database validation using SQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity - Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to independently manage multiple work streams - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Java and relevant frameworks - Enhance and maintain automation frameworks ensuring scalability and reusability **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree preferred - 5+ years of experience as an API Automation Tester - 5+ years of experience in Java Scripting Please note: The job type is full-time with a fixed shift from Monday to Friday.
