Job Description:

INSD is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Animation and Graphic Design Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animation and graphic design, an eagerness to inspire and mentor students, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning environment.

As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in animation and graphic design.

Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to the development of curriculum, engage in departmental activities, and maintain a professional network within the design industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and facilitate courses in animation and graphic design across various levels (e.g., undergraduate, diploma, or master's).
• Provide individualized feedback and guidance to students on assignments, projects, and portfolio development.
• Develop, update, and deliver course content in alignment with industry trends and standards.
• Mentor students and provide career guidance to help them succeed in the design industry.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative teaching methodologies.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, additional responsibilities and other institutional activities.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A degree in Animation or Graphic Design or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Teaching Experience: Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a higher education setting is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InDesign Figma, etc.), with a solid understanding of web design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) design.
• Knowledge in Digital Marketing is an added advantage.

Creativity & Communication: Strong conceptual and creative skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively.

• Passion for design education, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Candidate should be dedicative and taking up additional Responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
