Animatic Artist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Animatic Artist to join our creative team and help bring our stories to life. The Animatic Artist will be responsible for creating animatics—rough versions of animations or films that combine storyboard images with timing, sound, and dialogue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert screenplay into animatics with proper timing and sequencing.
• Sync dialogue, sound effects, music, and temporary voiceovers to visuals.
• Maintain angle, bgs, character proportions, size relations, and models from pre-production.
• Work closely with creative artists, editors to establish the rhythm and storytelling beats of the project.
• Adjust timing, camera moves, and editing choices based on feedback from directors and production teams.
• Collaborate with editorial and animation teams to ensure consistency and clarity throughout the pre-production and production stages.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Animatic Artist, Storyboard Editor, or in a similar role in animation.
• Proficient in animatic and motion graphics software, including Adobe Animate CC, After Effects, and related tools
• Solid understanding of animation principles, storytelling, and editing techniques.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to feedback quickly.

Preferred Skills:

• Good knowledge of 2D or 3D animation pipelines.
