We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our team and develop high-quality mobile applications for retail and restaurant businesses.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Android applications while collaborating with the product, design, backend, and QA teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces for mobile devices and Android POS terminals.
• Implement scalable application architecture using MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
• Develop offline-first features and manage local data storage and synchronization.
• Implement features related to billing, inventory management, order processing, and payments.
• Integrate hardware such as thermal printers, barcode scanners, and POS devices.
• Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability.
• Write unit tests and perform application debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
• Participate in code reviews and follow Android development best practices.
• Manage application releases and deployments through the Google Play Console.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in native Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Good understanding of Android Jetpack components, including View Model, Room, Navigation, and Work Manager.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit or Ok Http.
• Familiarity with local databases such as Room and SQLite.
• Understanding of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing POS, retail, restaurant, billing, or inventory management applications.
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and UPI payments.
• Experience integrating thermal printers and barcode scanners.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Crashlytics, and push notifications.
• Understanding of offline data synchronization and background processing.
• Knowledge of GST invoicing and retail or restaurant business workflows.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience with relevant Android development skills will also be considered.

Pay: ₹41,000.00 - ₹58,333.33 per month
