Job Summary

Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications.
Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
Develop reusable and modular code following coding standards.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, QA teams, and Backend Developers.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Ensure application security, data privacy, and best coding practices.
Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and releases.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in
Kotlin
and/or
Java
.
Hands-on experience with
Android SDK
and Android Studio.
Experience with
Jetpack Components
(ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
Strong understanding of
MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture
.
Experience integrating
REST APIs
and handling JSON data.
Knowledge of
SQLite, Room Database
, and local storage solutions.
Familiarity with
Material Design Guidelines
.
Experience with
Git
version control.
Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, threading, and performance optimization.
Experience with Google Play Store deployment and release management.

Preferred Skills

Experience with
Jetpack Compose
.
Familiarity with
Firebase
(Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
Knowledge of
Coroutines, Flow, Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin)
.
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
.
Exposure to
GraphQL
.
Knowledge of
AWS or Azure Cloud Services
.
Experience with app security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
