Job description Carryout the medications according to standing instructions. Maintain personal hygiene and comfort of the patient. Implement and maintain ward policies routines. Coordinate patient care with other team members. Take rounds with the doctors and carryout new orders. Assisting doctors in various medical surgical diagnostic procedures. Prepare patients for operations. Attend last offices in case of a patient dying. Carry out admission and discharge procedures. Maintain all the records. Maintain consent form, checklist, investigation reports, vital signs charts, charts: Take special care of MLC papers records. Write day night orders Maintains ward statistics. Educational Functions Help in orientation of New Staff Students. Extend cooperation and participate in clinical teaching. Provide for and demonstrate methods and procedures whenever needed. Participate in in-service education programmes.
