As a part of Hitachi Digital Services, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise in SQL and Power BI to create visually appealing and user-friendly reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data visualization requirements, designing and developing effective Power BI solutions, and optimizing ETL processes using Power Query and SQL for data transformation and integration. Additionally, you will provide training sessions and technical support to end users to enhance self-service analytics and maximize Power BI utilization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data visualization requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions. - Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations. - Utilize proficiency in DAX to create calculated measures, columns, and tables to enhance data analysis capabilities within Power BI models. - Develop and optimize ETL processes using Power Query and SQL to transform and integrate data from diverse sources. - Implement best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and data governance within Power BI projects. - Create and maintain documentation for all owned Power BI reports. - Provide training sessions and technical support to end users to foster self-service analytics and maximize Power BI utilization. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field. - Up to 7 years' experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions based on Microsoft Tabular models, including Power BI visualization and complex DAX. - Experience in designing and implementing data models on Tabular and SQL based storage solutions. - Solid understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehouse concepts. - Proficiency in SQL coding and advanced skills in Microsoft BI stack. - Experience with Azure Synapse is a plus. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, numpy, pandas, sklearn, pytorch, keras, scipy, C#, or similar.
