Role Overview: You will be responsible for equipment preparation and maintenance, supporting anesthesia procedures, patient preparation, inventory and supply management, documentation, and compliance in a medical setting. Your role will involve assisting anesthesiologists, ensuring proper functioning of equipment, maintaining stock of supplies, and adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Set up, calibrate, and test anesthesia machines and monitors - Prepare ventilators, suction devices, infusion pumps, and airway management equipment - Clean, sterilize, and maintain anesthesia tools and supplies - Assist anesthesiologists in administering anesthesia - Prepare patients for anesthesia under supervision - Maintain adequate stock of anesthesia drugs, accessories, and disposables - Record equipment checks, maintenance logs, and supply usage - Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control, and sterilization standards Qualifications: - Education: Diploma or certification in Anesthesia Technology. B.Sc. in Anesthesia Technology preferred - Experience: 2 years for entry-level roles. More experience required for senior or specialized positions - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) optional but helpful Additional Details: You will be working in operating rooms, emergency departments, intensive care units (ICU), and procedure rooms like endoscopy, labor room, cardiac catheterization labs.
