Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Tally/ERP/Zoho or relevant software). Record all purchase bills, sales bills, JV, payment & receipt entries. Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash book, and bank book. Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements. 2. Construction-Specific Accounting Handle project-wise accounting and cost allocation. Maintain site-wise material consumption reports and expense tracking. Verify contractor bills, labour bills, and site expenses before booking. Manage RA bills, BOQ understanding, and work measurement entries. 3. Vendor & Contractor Management Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts. Reconcile vendor/contractor ledgers. Ensure proper checking of GRN, material invoices, and service bills. 4. Taxation & Compliance Prepare GST purchase/sales summaries and reconciliation. Assist in filing GST returns and TDS returns. Deduct and record TDS for contractors/material suppliers. Maintain statutory compliance documentation. 5. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet assistance, cost reports, and project reports. Monitor cash flows and prepare daily/weekly expense statements. Assist in budgeting and financial planning. 6. Documentation & Coordination Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal checking. Coordinate with sites, vendors, procurement, and management for financial requirements. Support internal and external audits. Skills Required Strong knowledge of accounting principles & construction accounting. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Zoho Books / any ERP system. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance rules. Expertise in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reports). Ability to manage multiple site accounts. Good communication and coordination skills.
