As our organization and customer base continues to expand on a global scale, we at Aeris are looking for an experienced NOC monitoring Engineer to join our team at the Noida, India office, working closely with our global Tier I Customer Support team. As a NOC Engineer at Aeris, you will be responsible for monitoring applications and infrastructure for an IOT solution from a central location to proactively detect problems. Your duties will include analyzing issues, troubleshooting, incident response, escalation, and tracking problems through to resolution. The role will involve alarms monitoring of Aeris application and infrastructure, proactive problem identification, expertise sharing with peers, escalation management, incident bridge setup, documentation of issues and resolutions, workload management, and working in 24*7 shifts. **Responsibilities:** - Alarms monitoring of Aeris application and infrastructure - Proactively identify problems and take defined actions based on scripted procedures - Provide expertise in monitoring to department peers - Escalate issues to the next level and ensure problem resolution - Page stakeholders and set up Incident management bridge for problem resolution - Document problems, impact, and resolution delivered by SMEs - Manage multiple cases simultaneously while adding procedural documentation - Manage workload by accurately gauging timelines and meeting deadlines - Required to work in 24*7 shifts **Candidate Prerequisites:** **Qualifications:** - Degree within Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent **Years of experience:** - 2-5 years **Technical and/or functional skills:** - Consistent success in NOC or IT helpdesk within a high traffic, global enterprise environment - Experience with Zendesk, Jira, or ticket tracking best practices - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with diagnostic tools, reading, and interpreting logs - Excellent organization skills - A curious mindset, passion for continued learning, staying abreast of new technology and techniques - Service Performance indicators and their interpretation - Working experience in either Access, Core, Transport networks - Knowledge of routers/switches/firewall desired but not mandatory **Personality attributes:** - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional manner - Good communication skills, fluent in English speaking and writing - Strict adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and mature judgment - Desire to excel, drive problem solution, and flexibility in work schedule - Attention to detail - High level of commitment - Team player - Customer-focused approach and sense of urgency - Ready to work in shifts 24x7 Join us at Aeris and be part of our vibrant and dynamic team, driving innovation in the IoT space!,
