Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantitative Developer Intern (1st, 2nd or 3rd year Eng students) to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust backtesting frameworks, all while working closely with and learning directly from our co-founders, who are industry experts. If you have a passion for quantitative analysis, algorithmic trading, and software development, this internship will provide you with invaluable technical skills and understanding of the industry. Responsibilities Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backtesting systems using Python. Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate strategies into efficient and accurate backtesting code. Work on validating backtesting results through rigorous testing and analysis. Analyze historical data to support the validation and improvement of trading strategies. Document code, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Qualifications Current enrolment in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. (1st, 2nd or 3rd year Eng students ONLY. Final-year students or those in their last semester of any program are not eligible.) Strong programming skills in Python, with familiarity in numerical libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Basic understanding of algorithmic trading concepts and financial instruments. Have a keen interest in data analysis, quantitative methods, and technology. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to effectively utilize AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and others to enhance productivity and optimize daily tasks.
