Quality Control and Assurance: Set and communicate quality standards to suppliers. Conduct rigorous quality inspections at various stages of production to maintain high standards. Sample Development and Approval: Oversee the sample development process, ensuring that samples meet design specifications and quality standards. Provide feedback and approvals for samples before mass production. Inventory Management and Demand Forecasting: Implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and turnover. Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and plan production accordingly. Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet production and delivery deadlines. Manage import/export processes and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations. Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of merchandisers and coordinators. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Strategic Planning and Decision-Making: Contribute to the development of overall business and merchandising strategies.
