AI Model System Software Performance Optimization Staff Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of a team responsible for enhancing Performance Optimization tools for state-of-the-art machine learning solutions on the Snapdragon platform. Your role will involve driving improvements in the software stack to enhance performance realization for Windows Application Developers on Snapdragon. You will collaborate closely with development leads, software and hardware architects, customer engineers, and application developers. Responsibilities: - Understand trends in ML model design and workflow through engagement with application developers and latest academic research - Continuously measure KPIs for AI development tools on Windows on Snapdragon, focusing on automation, ease of use, and performance metrics - Conduct competitive benchmarking of tools and workflows on different platforms using state-of-the-art models - Enhance AI performance debug, analysis, and optimization tools to lower the barrier to entry for Application Developers on Windows on Snapdragon - Collaborate with 3rd party developers and cross-functional teams to develop high-performance tools and documentation for Windows on Snapdragon - Contribute new features and designs to the Qualcomm AI toolkit to improve the workflow experience for Application Developers Skills and Experience: - 7-11 years of experience in AI application development - Experience in building AI applications using ML tools/workflow, preferably on Windows using CPU, GPU, NPU - Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages - Experience with performance optimization of AI on GPU, NPU, CPU is a plus - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Demonstrated ability to learn, think, and adapt in a fast-changing environment Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.,
