AI Intern

The AI Intern role based in Bangalore at Manyata Tech Park is a 6-month paid internship opportunity with a focus on supporting the integration, deployment, and operationalization of AI models, particularly Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), and prompt engineering for conversational AI and workflow automation. As an AI Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with experienced team members to ensure smooth implementation of AI solutions and contribute to extending AI capabilities across various business applications within an enterprise environment. Your responsibilities will include developing end-to-end AI solutions, such as independently creating data pipelines, integrating foundational models like GPT and BERT, implementing backend services, and developing frontend interfaces for user interaction with AI models. You will also be involved in documentation for handover, knowledge sharing sessions, quality assurance and testing, deployment to production environments, monitoring performance, and lifecycle management of AI solutions. To excel in this role, proficiency in Python, experience with Azure AI services, familiarity with data engineering and backend development, knowledge of testing frameworks, and strong communication skills are essential. A self-starting attitude, adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work collaboratively are key soft skills required for this position. Preferred skills include experience with RAG techniques, prompt engineering, predictive modeling, frontend development, cloud services, advanced AI concepts, and documentation & compliance practices.
