Job Description: AGNIT Semiconductors Pvt Ltd is the leading provider of Gallium Nitride (GaN) components for RF and Power Electronics in India. As a vertically integrated device manufacturer, we specialize in offering GaN wafers and devices for applications in wireless communication, strategic sectors, and telecom power supplies. With a rich history as a spin-off from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, AGNIT has established a strong foundation with differentiated intellectual property (IP) spanning GaN materials, processes, and devices through more than 15 years of dedicated research and development. Our esteemed founding team collectively brings over 100 years of experience in the semiconductor value chain. We are currently seeking a Senior Device Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru on a full-time basis. The Senior Device Engineer will play a pivotal role in steering the development efforts for various categories of GaN devices that are at different stages of research and development as well as production at AGNIT. This role involves close collaboration with the device processing and fabrication team, RF characterization and testing team, packaging and assembly team, and RF design teams. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in semiconductor device aspects including fabrication, testing, packaging, assembly, and design. While a background in GaN devices is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor devices encompassing fabrication, testing, and design, with packaging experience being a plus - Previous involvement in semiconductor components or device research and development - Profound knowledge of semiconductor devices - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field such as ECE/EE/E&I, Physics, or Materials Science - Prior experience in the semiconductor industry would be advantageous If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for semiconductor devices and a desire to contribute to cutting-edge GaN technology, we invite you to consider joining our innovative team at AGNIT Semiconductors Pvt Ltd.,
