Additionally, managing test platforms and environments, designing and developing QA load/automation tools, and using Scrum methodology are essential in this position. In terms of job requirements, you should have a strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes, along with experience in test case and test plan documentation. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest and SOAP API testing, web service and API testing tools, JSON, XML, YAML, and bug tracking tools like JIRA are necessary. Exposure to testing SPA, responsive web applications, mobile apps, cross-browser compatibility, scriptless/codeless test automation platforms, load testing tools, security testing, and leading a team of QA Engineers are also important qualifications. As a QA Manager, you should possess competencies such as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivation, and strong written and oral communication skills.
