Description
As an Automation Test Engineer at EY, you will be responsible for performing automation expediency, suggesting automation approaches, building automation frameworks, automating manual test cases, maintaining and executing regression tests to ensure all automation needs are met and aligned with customer expectations. Your expertise with automation tools like Selenium and Protractor, knowledge of TestNG and Cucumber BDD Frameworks for web and mobile applications testing, and proficiency in Java are essential for this role. Additionally, having knowledge of vb scripting and Python would be an added advantage. Your key responsibilities will include: - Framework Architecture development/enhancement - Building Framework components and libraries - Automating Web Application Testing using Selenium Webdriver with TestNG Framework - Webservice automation using Rest Assured - Protractor knowledge - Mobile application testing using Appium - Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy - Creating Automation Test Plan and getting approvals - Automation Framework Design and Implementation - Managing Test Automation Resources - Enhancing, debugging and Running Test Cases - Providing Automation Test Estimations - Monitoring defect management process - Conducting Regression Testing - Resolving Object Identification and error handling issues - Generating Test Summary Reports - Coordinating with Test team members and Development team - Interacting with clients to solve issues and update status - Leading teams across geographies - Providing automation trainings within the company To qualify for this role, you must have: - BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc degree - 5-10 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and domains - At least 5 years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, Protractor Ideally, you should also have: - Hands-on experience in developing frameworks on Selenium frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured - Created QA Strategy and automation approach from scratch - Excellent communication skills - Ability to articulate concisely & clearly - Readiness to take on individual contributor and Team Leader roles At EY, you will have the opportunity to work on inspiring and meaningful projects with support, coaching, and feedback from engaging colleagues.
