This role will serve as a strategic partner to developers, testers, product owners, and engineering leadership to embed quality-first thinking and automation into the software development lifecycle. You’ll be a key advocate for test coverage, defect prevention, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate backlog grooming sessions to ensure user stories meet Definition of Done (DoD) standards and are testable. Identify and document unit test cases aligned with DoD criteria and collaborate with developers to implement them. Proactively identify quality risks and design mitigation strategies throughout the development lifecycle. Act as a liaison between QA and stakeholders, ensuring test efforts are aligned with business goals and timelines. Monitor pull requests for unit test coverage and analyze trends to drive continuous improvement. Collect, analyze, and present key quality metrics, including Test Coverage (Unit, Integration, E2E), Defect Leakage Rate, MTTR, Automation Rate, and Sprint Defect Density. Ensure consistent implementation of runbooks and updates to Zephyr across squads. Conduct quarterly performance reviews for QEs and maintain an up-to-date QE playbook and onboarding guide. Promote the use of Ludwig methodologies to create squad-level heatmaps and monitor performance indicators.
