Responsibilities
- Drive Motor Insurance business through the Agency channel.
• Develop and manage agency partners, agents and distribution relationships. • Achieve business targets across premium, policies, renewals and portfolio growth. • Build and strengthen the agency network through recruitment and development of agents. • Manage key agency relationships and identify new business opportunities. • Monitor business performance, productivity and portfolio profitability. • Lead and mentor sales/agency teams to achieve business objectives. • Coordinate with underwriting, operations and other internal teams for smooth business servicing. • Ensure adherence to company processes, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. • Drive market expansion and strengthen the Motor Insurance business across the assigned territory.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in General Insurance, with strong exposure to Motor Insurance and Agency channel.
• Strong experience in Agency Sales, Agency Distribution or Motor Insurance business development. • Proven track record of achieving business targets and managing a sizeable portfolio. • Experience in team handling, agent development and agency relationship management. • Strong understanding of Motor Insurance products, distribution and market dynamics. • Strong agency/agent network and market relationships will be preferred. • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and leadership skills. • Candidates with strong Maharashtra market exposure will be preferred.
