The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and market penetration for Namkeen and Snack products across India. This leadership role demands a strong understanding of the FMCG sector, channel management, distributor/dealer network expansion, and effective team leadership to achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a pan-India team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and Sales Officers. Channel Management: Strengthen and expand General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and Institutional sales channels. Distributor/Dealer Network: Appoint, train, and manage a strong distributor/dealer network to ensure product availability and visibility across territories. Market Expansion: Identify new markets and business opportunities for product penetration, especially in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities. Process & Product Quality: Monitor and control critical quality parameters at all stages raw material, process, and finished goods. Ensure standardization of Kurkure product quality in terms of texture, flavor, and packaging integrity. Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams for process improvement and waste reduction . 3. Laboratory Management: Supervise all in-process, finished product, and micro testing in the lab. Ensure proper calibration, documentation, and validation of testing equipment. Review and approve COAs (Certificates of Analysis) from suppliers and final products. 4. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain documentation as per AIB, FSSAI, and customer audit requirements. Handle Regulatory Inspections and ensure all legal compliances (FSSAI, Pollution Control, etc.) are up to date. Prepare and review SOPs, quality manuals, records, and audit files . 5. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate QA executives and line QC inspectors. Conduct regular training on hygiene, GMP, CCP monitoring, and AIB requirements for plant staff. 6. Continuous Improvement: Analyze customer complaints, conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and implement CAPA. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
