As an Android Engineer at Fiserv, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Android applications designed for devices operating on the Android platform. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing the Android SDK to write code in Java and Kotlin for app functionalities and user interfaces. - Accessing external data sources through APIs to integrate databases and web services. - Customizing and optimizing applications for various Android devices to ensure the best user experience. - Debugging existing code and developing new features to enhance application performance. - Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in Android application and framework development. - 3-5 years of experience in Java Development. - Proficiency in developing native mobile applications for Android. - Familiarity with databases, preferably MySQL. - Hands-on knowledge of Android development tools such as Android SDK/Studio, Android Debug Bridge (ADB), and Android emulators. Additionally, it would be great to have experience with Continuous Integration tools like Bitbucket, Jira, Go CD, as well as monitoring tools like Grafana, Datadog, and wavefront.
