Adventure or Wilderness Therapist - Males only - Coimbatore / Coonoor

Responsibilities

• Adventure or Wilderness therapy is an exciting field and very rare in India. The appointed candidate could become the pioneer in this filed as far as India is concerned
• Candidate will design, implement and supervise adventure therapy program with assistance of adventure trained professionals at our Coonoor campus
• Candidate should be able to travel and meet therapists / clinical professionals in various cities and discuss with them the possibility of including adventure therapy in their therapeutic or treatment programs.
• Target - Emotional wellbeing, troubled teenagers, dysfunctional adolescents, individuals with stress / insecurity, autism, recovering addicts, etc
• This assignment is for those who want to make a difference to others while at the same time enjoy the outdoor life.
• This is not a desk job and only those who have a passion for outdoors and travelling need to apply.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Candidate must be post graduate in the field of Psychology or Social Work with counselling as a major subject.
• Candidate will have minimum 2 years experience in the field of psychological counselling / therapy
• The candidate will have passion for outdoors / adventure and should be able to connect with people easily.
• Fitness is a major requirement as candidate may have to walk long distances during the therapy program
• Resident of Coimbatore or Nilgris will get higher preference.
