Role & responsibilities Manage the end-to-end recruitment process sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. Handle onboarding, induction, and exit formalities ensuring smooth employee transitions. Maintain and update employee records , personal files, and HR databases accurately. Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and code of conduct across the organization. Plan and execute employee engagement activities , team events, and welfare initiatives. Manage attendance, leave tracking, payroll inputs , and other HR operational processes. Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and other applicable regulations. Support the performance appraisal process and assist management in goal setting and feedback cycles. Address employee grievances professionally and promote a positive work culture. Work efficiently on HR software / HRMS tools (Zoho People, Zoho payroll etc.) for daily HR operations. Coordinate with management for strategic HR planning , manpower budgeting, and process improvement. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure data accuracy in all HR documentation. Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in HR operations / HR generalist roles Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources / Business Administration Strong understanding of HR processes , statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity), and labor laws Hands-on experience with HRMS / HR software such as Zoho People or Zoho Payroll Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive employee relations Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple HR functions independently Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic HR analytics.
