ADAS V&V Software Test Lead Engineer Senior

You will be part of the Software Test and Quality infrastructure team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, specifically working on the ADAS SW platform for the ADAS vehicle validation team. Your main responsibilities will include testing in HIL/SIL System integration, developing and automating test plans and tools, constructing new maneuver scenarios in the HIL/SIL environments, working on the ADAS SIL/HIL platforms, understanding open loop and closed loop SIL environment, and having knowledge of various ADAS features, MAP functionalities, vehicle functions, connected ECUs, vehicle dynamics, requirement management, CAPL scripts, communication protocols like CAN/Ethernet, Radar/Camera systems, ADS vehicle maneuvers, functional safety, Diag functions, and fault handling. Key Responsibilities: - Test in HIL/SIL System integration, error guessing, configurability testing, issue reproducibility, exploratory and feature combining tests for ADAS SW platform - Construct new maneuver scenarios in the HIL/SIL environments - Understand open loop and closed loop SIL environment - Knowledge of ADAS features, MAP functionalities, vehicle functions, connected ECUs, vehicle dynamics, requirement management, CAPL scripts, communication protocols like CAN/Ethernet, Radar/Camera systems, ADS vehicle maneuvers - Design test plans, test cases, test scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure the best coverage of requirements for features - Review Requirements and Test Cases - Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO26262 compliance preferred) - Experience with Diag functions and Fault handling (UDS protocol, Fault access, Calibration tools) Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience; OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience; OR PhD with 1+ year of experience - 2+ years of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and tools - At least 6 to 9 years of experience in vehicle testing - Good knowledge of ADAS features and advanced features with MAP functionalities, vehicle functions, connected ECUs like ESP, EPS, EMS, BCM, TCM, vehicle dynamics, requirement management, CAPL scripts, communication protocols like CAN/Ethernet, Radar/Camera systems, ADS vehicle maneuvers - Experience with Functional Safety (ISO26262 compliance preferred) and Diag functions and Fault handling (UDS protocol, Fault access, Calibration tools) About the Company: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes to individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
